ALCS Game 6: Tigers (2-3) @ Red Sox (3-2)

Can Max save our season?

Can Max save our season?

It’s do or die tonight, as the Tigers face off against the Red Sox in game 6 of the ALCS. The Tigers send Max Scherzer (2-0, 2.25 ERA) to the mound to extend their season, while the Red Sox counter with Clay Buchholz (0-0, 6.17 ERA). If anyone can give the Tigers a chance to win, it’s Scherzer, but they’ll need a little more from the offense if they hope to force a winner-take-all game 7. They’ve scored just 16 runs total in the 5 games so far (Boston’s managed only 15, for the record).
