Per The Tigers Director of Media Relations, Brian Britten:
Delmon Young has been placed on restricted list. Danny Worth has been recalled from Toledo. #tigers

There’s no surprise here, with Worth recalled the Tigers now have an offense that sports catchers Alex Avila, and Gerald Laird; infielders Prince Fielder, Ryan Raburn, Jhonny Peralta, Miguel Cabrera, Ramon Santiago, and Danny Worth; outfielders Brennan Boesch, Austin Jackson, Andy Dirks; utility man Don Kelly, and DH Brad Eldred.
There’s obviously no other news regarding Delmon Young other than the fact that he was released from jail on a $5000 bond.
According to the Tigers, they say the move was made ahead of an MLB hearing that will happen early next week. Because alcohol was involved, the MLB will step in and be a part of future discussions. There is no day limit to the restricted list as is the case (15 or 60) with the disabled list.
According to Lynn Henning of the Detroit News:
Because of contract language introduced after the John Rocker affair, Young’s contract CAN be voided, if hate-crimes offense occurred.
