Opening Day Roster Set, At Least for Two Weeks (Marte Update)

With the decision to place infielder Brandon Inge on the 15 day disabled list the Detroit Tigers Opening Day roster has been decided. The fringe names have all made it through spring training thanks to the decision to keep Drew Smyly in triple-A until April 12th and Inge on the DL until April 14th.

Once those two dates arrive, two moves will need to be made. Barring any further injury one can assume that on the 12th a position player will be demoted, as they are opening the season with only 11 pitchers. Clete Thomas would be my best guess given the current situation.

On the 14th, when Inge is eligible to be activated, one would assume that Danny Worth will be optioned to, as they are basically the same player.
